USO Denver Supports the Colorado National Guard Fight Against COVID-19
The men and women of the Colorado National Guard have been assisting the state Emergency Operations Center respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are on the frontlines doing things like converting the Colorado Convention Center into a medial care facility, providing assistance with testing the state’s most vulnerable populations, delivering food to remote locations, taking care of local homeless, and more. Days are long and stressful, so USO Denver is providing morale boosting deliveries to keep everyone strong both physically and mentally throughout the metro area.
At each site we’ve visited, there’s no mistaking the smiles and excitement (even behind the masks) when the USO Truck rolls up with goodies… “Wow! You guys are ROCKSTARS!”, “SNACKS!”, “Thank you guys so much, you have no idea how much we appreciate this”. We think all of our Colorado National Guard Members are rockstars, too. Keep up the great work and know we’re here by your side.
