GoTeam Therapy dogs visit

USO Colorado partnered with GoTeam Therapy Dogs to bring complete joy to the service members at the center on Fort Carson. This was the first of what will become monthly visits. The team of volunteers brought some very loving furry faces to bring comfort and good feelings to our guests. The impact these visits make is invaluable and we received great feedback about the visit. Service members melted walking through the door, came right in, got on the floor and gave all the snuggles. So many service members can’t or don’t have pets to come home to, so when they got the opportunity to spend time with the pups they jumped at the chance.
