USO Colorado Canine Program
USO Colorado is lucky to have two incredibly special volunteers who bring genuine joy to everyone they meet.
Meet Jed and his owner, Marti, beloved regulars at the USO Center at Denver International Airport. Jed happily greets every guest who walks through the door, offering calm companionship to anxious travelers and a friendly presence to anyone needing a moment of comfort.
Then there’s Becca, along with her owner, Walter, who support the USO Center on Fort Carson. Becca is pure sweetness—gentle, affectionate, and always ready to make someone smile.
For so many of our service members, being away from home also means being away from family pets. Others aren’t able to have pets at all due to the demands of military life. Jed and Becca give them a special chance to enjoy licks, sniffs, tail wags, and all the simple, grounding joy that only a dog can bring.
