Kids in the Kitchen at Schriever SFB

USO Colorado recently had the opportunity to get messy with more than 20 Space Force families on Schriever SFB. We hosted a Kids in the Kitchen event where we created candy sushi and monster balls together. Upon arriving, families received a supply bag with all the supplies to use their creativity to make the candy sushi. The monster balls were more of a family style, shared activity that turned out great! Lots of sticky peanut butter and honey handprints and teamwork to come together to make edible art! “We never get to make messes like this at home!” said a sweet little one in attendance. We love seeing families laugh, create and connect with each other at these types of events.
