USO Colorado support Marine Poolees at Buckley SFB

Each year USO Colorado supports hundreds of area teens that have committed to the USMC. Buckley SFB in Aurora hosts the ‘Poolees’ that are typically finishing high school before they head to basic training to start their career as a US Marine. The teens get their first real taste of what their journey in the military will look like, including support from the USO! This year we fed over 300 guys and gals from Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota. It is great to show them USO will be there for them throughout their entire military career. One hungry future Marine commented, “This is way better than the MRE’s we had this morning, Thank you!”
