Military Appreciation Week with the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche & Colorado Mammoth

Thanks to AAA Service and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, USO Denver was able to send 767 military service members and their loved ones to attend Military Appreciation Week games at Pepsi Center in Downtown Denver with the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL) and Colorado Mammoth (NLL). Each game tied in special touches that focused on showing appreciating military service members and their families of all generations.

Families who attended shared their excitement for the opportunity to step away from the mission and participate in local events with one another, “Professional sports are normally out of our price range for our family of 6 – tickets, parking, and everything get expensive. Thanks to the USO our kids attended their first NHL game and they had so much fun! Thank you!”
