USO Colorado Spades Tournament
Before you sit down, know how to shuffle, and bid your hands! Laughter and setting the opposing team ruled the day as service members enjoyed a spades tournament as part of the USO Colorado gaming events held year-round at the center to give service members a break from their busy day during lunch. “Spades has always been a great distraction during field exercises, and to be able to enjoy with friends while not in the field was really fun.,” said CPL Mohney Branon. However, it would be SSG Rosario and LT McCausland who would walk away with bragging rights. They won their first and second round by holding their opponents to only three books, known in the spade’s world as a BOSTON.
